We are seeking a Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis, working approximately 10 hours per week at the Healthy Youth and Families Home. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities, providing assessments and interventions to enhance their functional abilities and overall quality of life. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs. The therapist will provide direct therapy services, including art, music, dance, and recreational activities, to clients in both individual and group settings. Additionally, the therapist will document client progress, maintain accurate records, and actively participate in case discussions and team meetings.
Healthy Youth and Families Home is a four-bed, licensed facility designed to provide 24-hour intensive behavioral support services to youth with developmental disabilities and severe challenging behaviors. The schedule for this position consists of two days a week, with 5-hour shifts during morning and afternoon hours, offering some flexibility in choosing the specific days and times.
Minimum Requirements: Applicants must have a college education, preferably a bachelor's degree or higher with coursework in psychology or human development.
Work Location: On-site, West Fresno.
