JOB SUMMARY: We are an established furniture and cabinet business that has opened a new warehouse and distribution center in St. George. We are looking for 6 – 8 people to run day to day packaging, shipping and light construction operations. This is an entry-level position with the opportunity to advance.
As an entry-level Warehouse Distribution Employee, you will fill orders. You will set up, operate, and tend machines that package our furniture. And you will pre-assemble furniture and fixtures to specific design and specifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Follow Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) to produce CreateRoom furniture pieces.
• Work in assigned areas and cross-train in other areas of the process.
• Participate in ways to improve factory efficiencies to reduce unproductive effort and waste.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience: Some work experience is preferred, but not required. If this is your first job, we can still find a place for you.
• 17 + years old
• Able to be on feet for a 8-hour shift
• Able to lift 50+ lbs
• Able to bend, stoop and move about easily.
• Have initiative and be hard working.
• Can follow directions and take correction from team lead a/o supervisor.
• Team-centered attitude will work to meet productivity standards.
