Early Childhood Assistant Education Teacher

  • Maintain Confidentiality
  • Report any suspected child abuse to the proper authorities.
  • Maintain all licensing regulations and health regulations.
  • Maintain ongoing family communication.
  • Clean the classroom in accordance with the daily cleaning checklist.
  • Work on all paperwork required for the day. (Daily notes, food program forms, information board and accident/incident reports).
  •  Follow classroom closing routine.
  • Assist lead teacher with implementing and maintaining classroom management and schedule.
  • Come to work at your scheduled hours. Be prompt with scheduled lunches.
  • Attending 15 hours of continuing education as well as all staff meetings.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in your class and on the playground. Check toys and materials for damage or missing items.
  • Always come to work with a positive frame of mind for the ultimate care of our children. (Please leave personal matters at home).
  • Professional Development towards becoming an Early Childhood Teacher in the State of Colorado.
  • Work with the classroom Early Childhood Teacher to learn how to independently run and maintain an exemplary early childhood learning environment and classroom.
  • Help with communication in the Remind app.
  • Attend Yearly professional development day.
  • Assist in any changing of diapering/hygiene needs of all children.
