Title: Chiropractic Assistant
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic and providing excellent patient care. You will work closely with our chiropractor to support them in delivering high-quality chiropractic services to our patients.
Responsibilities:
1. Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the clinic and assist them with completing necessary paperwork.
2. Schedule patient appointments and manage the chiropractor's calendar efficiently.
3. Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and address patient inquiries promptly and professionally.
4. Assist the chiropractor during patient examinations and treatments, ensuring they have all necessary equipment and materials.
5. Educate patients about chiropractic treatments, procedures, and wellness techniques.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the reception area, treatment rooms, and other clinic spaces.
7. Process payments, handle billing tasks, and maintain accurate patient records using our electronic medical records (EMR) system.
8. Monitor inventory levels of clinic supplies and place orders as needed.
9. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
10. Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Requirements:
1. Chiropractic Assistant Certified; additional education or certification in healthcare administration or related field is a plus.
2. Previous experience working in a healthcare or clinical setting preferred.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
4. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
5. Proficiency in using computer software and electronic medical records systems.
6. Empathetic and compassionate demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others improve their health and well-being.
7. Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to ethical standards.
8. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
9. Willingness to learn and receive training on chiropractic terminology, procedures, and techniques.
10. CPR certification may be required (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
