Our Client a manufacturer of electronic connectors for a variety of commercial, automotive and  consumer electronic applications is seeking a highly motivated data-driven Marketing Communications Manager with expertise in utilizing the latest marketing tools to identify and develop new customer contacts.  As a key member of our USA sales, engineering and marketing team, you will be responsible for helping to drive growth by increasing brand awareness in target markets/customers, and proactively identifying new leads thru online marketing and . advertising as well as thru electronic lead gathering systems at trade shows. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of marketing techniques, be a creative problem solver, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our target markets, customers, their pain points, and how our products and services can address their needs.
  • Collaborate with the sales, engineering and marketing team to develop effective content for advertising, promotional materials. 
  • Design graphics and develop/edit/proofread copies for advertisement and social media posts. 
  • Plan and use effective marketing campaigns, including social media, emailer, tradeshows, media advertisement, and co-op advertisement with our partners.
  • Use latest marketing tools to identify effective media campaigns and develop new potential customer contacts through research and data analysis.
  • Analyze and report on marketing campaign performance to refine and optimize future initiatives.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless handover of leads and support the conversion of leads to customers.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing communications in connector industry
  • Strong understanding of latest internet, marketing techniques and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think creatively and solve problems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, project management and data analysis tools, CRM systems, and social media platforms
