Job DescriptionJob Description

This position is responsible for handling warranty claims and technical support. Primary responsibilities include opening claims, diagnosing potential engine and transmission issues in a high volume environment daily via phone and email. Applicant must be organized, detailed oriented, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Answer a high volume of customer calls and assist each customer properly with their need.

  • Receive and open claims daily via phone and email.

  • Multi-task in a busy Warranty Department setting.

  • Submit replacement parts and/or replacement engine or transmission requests.

  • Respond to internal and external requests and resolve appropriately.

  • Knowledgeable about the Company's products, programs, and proficient in the use of systems utilized to manage customer accounts.

  • Ability to resolve escalated customer complaints and to a satisfactory resolution.

  • Perform other duties or special projects as requested by management.

  • Provide proper ETA of build time on products.

  • Check in warranty return parts and enter into warranty database.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

  • Must have the ability to perform at a high level in a fast paced environment.

  • Must have automotive mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.

  • Must be familiar with All Data repair.

  • Must have intermediate Microsoft Excel and Outlook knowledge.

  • AS400 experience a plus.

  • Must be detail oriented.

  • Must be able to type.

  • Must possess the ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, and follow-up effectively.

  • Exhibit a caring, professional and enthusiastic demeanor when speaking with internal and external customers.

  • Possess advanced phone etiquette, problem resolution and customer service skills.
