To be considered for this role, you should have experience doing all of the following:

 

  • SEO & Content Marketing: Develop and oversee content strategies, including SEO best practices and content calendar management. Identify and improve underperforming content, utilizing tools like GA, Semrush, and Ahrefs. Innovate content workflows using AI/ChatGPT to enhance productivity.
  • Copywriting: Craft compelling copy and lead copywriting efforts, including hiring and managing copywriters. Establish clear review and evaluation processes to ensure quality and effectiveness.
  • Promotions Strategy: Plan and execute high-visibility promotions across all digital marketing channels, ensuring they align with overall growth objectives and drive significant business impact.
  • Email Marketing: Design and execute email marketing campaigns, applying best practices and continuous optimization. Manage platforms like Active Campaign and assess campaign performance to drive improvements.
  • CRO, Funnels & Testing: Implement and optimize conversion strategies for SaaS products, including pricing page tests, countdown timers, and popups. Conduct detailed analysis to refine and improve funnel performance.
  • PPC & Paid Advertising: Develop creative PPC strategies and manage campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Google Search Console, analyzing and improving ROAS.
  • Affiliates & Partnerships: Manage affiliate programs and partnerships, ensuring robust relationship building and program success.
  • Social Media: Utilize social media channels effectively to boost traffic and revenue, aligning with overall marketing strategies.
  • Data & Analytics: Harness data analytics to drive decision-making and understand market trends. Expertise in GA and digital marketing channels is crucial.
  • Process Development & Documentation: Design and implement processes and SOPs to enhance team efficiency and project success. Prioritize tasks based on strategic impact.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team, fostering high performance, resolving conflicts, and providing constructive feedback. Experience in remote team management and meeting facilitation is essential.


You should also have:

  • Minimum of 4 years in growth marketing within a product-led, freemium SaaS environment, ideally focusing on B2B/SMB sectors. Demonstrated success in driving business growth through strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Expertise in SEO best practices for marketing site content, including blog posts, landing pages, etc. Proficiency in tools like Semrush and Ahrefs is essential.
  • Strong experience in copywriting and managing copywriters, including hiring and quality review processes. Your ability to craft compelling content will be key.
  • Proven track record in designing and executing effective email marketing campaigns, with hands-on experience in crafting and refining email content for SaaS products.
  • In-depth knowledge of conversion rate optimization, funnel management, and testing strategies for SaaS, including pricing page optimization and user engagement tactics.
  • Experienced in managing PPC campaigns across platforms like Google Ads and Facebook Ads, with a strong understanding of Google Search Console.
  • Ability to develop and manage affiliate programs and partnerships, with experience in nurturing and sustaining these relationships.
  • Proficiency in using Google Analytics (GA4) and other digital marketing analytics tools to drive data-informed decisions.
  • [Bonus] Experience with the WordPress platform is advantageous.
