Summary:
We are searching for a superstar HR Assistant to join our team You'll provide exceptional support across all HR functions, ensuring our department runs smoothly and employees feel valued.
Responsibilities:
- Employee Records & Relations: Maintain accurate employee records, assist employees with HR inquiries, manage insurance enrollment/termination, and coordinate performance reviews.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Develop job ads, conduct/schedule interviews, review applications, conduct new hire orientations, and create/manage new hire packets.
- Compliance & Administration: Track attendance, create/verify attendance notices, assist with revising job descriptions/pay scales, coordinate government reports, and maintain company bulletin boards.
- Benefits & Leave Management: Coordinate FMLA records, assist with revising company policies, ensure handbook policies are enforced, and handle personal time off/vacation/points adjustments.
- Communication & Organization: Update lunchroom light bar information, post on company bulletin boards, maintain confidentiality, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- Relevant HR experience (preferred) with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Math, measurement, and data analysis proficiency with excellent listening and communication skills.
- Advanced computer skills, above-average typing speed, and superior organizational abilities.
- Self-motivated with a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures.
- Ability to analyze complex situations, understand business practices/laws, and maintain confidentiality.
