- Grow business and fill available capacity profitably
- Develop and execute sales strategy to drive new business, including e-mail and marketing campaigns, prospecting, cold-calling, leading discovery calls that result in rfq’s
- Proactively work with prospective and established customers to advance sales opportunities
- Manage and execute a sales plan including budget management and revenue generation targets
- Visit and work with sub-tier supply base and internal departments to understand capabilities
- Work with segment manager/director, business development managers and development engineers to identify new growth opportunities with existing customers
- Work with customer service, team leadership, warehouse and production teams in order to meet customer needs
- Budget and forecast the cost and revenue of existing and new projects
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques
- Keep records, prepare reports on sales activities, utilize a CRM as required
- Could potentially come in contact with hazardous chemicals
- Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers

Reports to: Commercial Segment Manager
QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.
Education and Experience:
Expected: College degree and four years of proven customer service and sales experience
Communication Skills:
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
- Ability to build immediate rapport with customers over the phone.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in writing emails and customer mailers.
Other Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel 50% or more
