Responsibilities:Project Coordination:

  • Assist in planning and coordinating roofing projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Collaborate with Project Manager/Operation Manager to schedule tasks, allocate resources, and meet project deadlines.

Material and Resource Management:

  • Coordinate procurement and delivery of roofing materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in managing resources effectively.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, permits, and progress reports.
  • Assist in preparing and presenting project status updates to stakeholders.

Quality Assurance: • Support in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures during installation. • Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to industry standards and project specifications.

Team Collaboration:

  • Foster effective communication within the project team and subcontractors.
  • Assist in resolving issues and addressing challenges to ensure a cohesive work environment.

Safety Compliance:

  • Enforce and promote adherence to safety regulations and protocols on-site.
  • Facilitate safety meetings and training sessions for the project team.

Client Relations:

  • Support in maintaining positive relationships with clients and addressing their concerns.
  • Assist in addressing client change orders and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Budget Monitoring:

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to monitor project budgets and control costs.
  • Track expenses and assist in preparing financial reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience a plus).
  • Previous experience in commercial roofing projects.
  • Knowledge of roofing materials, installation techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the successful execution of commercial roofing projects while gaining valuable experience in project management within the construction industry.
