AVAILABLE SHIFT: Overnight - 9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance of plant machinery.

  • Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools, power tools and reassemble equipment.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building system operate efficiently, or the physical condition of building does not deteriorate.
  • Effectively perform maintenance with the use of tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws drills, wrenches, precision measuring instruments, electrical and electronic testing devices.
  • Repair and diagnose machinery with knowledge of computers and electronics, circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, computer hardware, applications and programming.
  • Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical components, pipe systems, and plumbing, machinery, and equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Two (2) year Technical School and or 2-5 years of on-the-job training
  • Be able to use welding -MIG, TIG, and stick, and use a plasma cutter.
  • Be able to read blueprint both US and German style.
  • Inspection and setup of Drives.
  • K-Tron scaling systems and KCM programming.
  • PPE training for Arc Flash training
  • Operating Vehicles, Mechanized devices, or equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and heavy lifting Hoists,
  • Training class, online, timely completion (15 -20 classes covering Industrial Maintenance courses).
  • Excellent knowledge of technology, control software, SAP, API-Pro, Word, Excel etc.
  • Deadline and detail oriented
