Aggtrans & The Stone Store is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about marketing and eager to learn and grow within our organization. As a Marketing Assistant, you will work closely with our Marketing & Events Director to support the development and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels. THIS POSITION IS NOT REMOTE. You will be expected to report to our office located near BWI Airport in Harmans, MD.

Responsibilities:

  • Support inbound and outbound marketing activities by displaying expertise in areas such as search engine optimization, graphic web design, blog content, event planning, advertising, email activities, and content development
  • Collaborate with web team to provide fresh content regularly, along with ideas based on web analytics to enhance our customer’s web experience
  • Assist with the creation of marketing materials, such as presentations, brochures, and digital content
  • Provide support for corporate events, including set up, tear down, registration, creating literature, event layouts, and more
  • Assist with company apparel and promotional/branding items
  • Maintain the physical and digital filing systems / assets for marketing collateral

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience in MS Office. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Must have paid web design and SEO experience
  • Experience managing CRM systems – working knowledge of a database program such as Salesforce, Constant Contact, Mailchimp, etc.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent writing, editing, grammar, and proofreading skills
  • Experience working independently, as well as within cross-functional teams in a collaborative, professional environment
  • Experience with social media management and email marketing is a plus
