Summary: The Headwear Jr. Graphic Designer is primarily responsible for creating headwear look books and assisting with headwear digital image needs. They will also assist with production ready sample art and database work. The position is intended to be focused primarily on the Legacy and Ouray brands and reports to the Marketing Design Manager, Headwear.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Create quality headwear look books for all sales channels.
  2. Assist merch team with system and non-system sampling, preparing production art and production set-ups in a timely manner.
  3. Learn and be able to execute all aspects of Ortery photo image equipment, software, and overall headwear image needs.
  4. Assist Headwear Image Specialist with maintaining blank hat image library.
  5. Assist in building digital image libraries of all headwear samples done outside the system for tradeshows, product development, and other sales and marketing needs.
  6. Work with Headwear Designers to support and make sure timely updating and image processing is done on a consistent basis to the headwear portions of the L2 Brands iPad app.
  7. Work with Headwear Designers by building thorough stock design templates to be used by internal and outsourced production artists.
  8. Assist merch team with database graphic management.
  9. Assist merch team with creating accurate sample labels.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

  1. Art related degree
  2. 3 years of relevant experience.
  3. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite preferred.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time hourly on-site position, and work hours are 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. (or 8-5 PM) daily. Longer hours, evenings and weekend work will be necessary as needed.
