We are seeking a Landscape/Facility Maintenance Technician, who is a can-do person, who will do what it takes to get the job done.

The Landscape/Facility Maintenance Technician must be multi-talented, landscaping, general maintenance such as painting, plumbing, minor electrical, building inspection to confirm safety standards. Most of this job is landscaping maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Landscape maintenance, trimming hedges, bushes, and weeding.
  • Repairs and painting to the building as needed
  • Ensuring premises are litter free
  • Notifying management of trespassers or damage done by same.
  • Assists the warehouse and engineering teams to process necessary tasks.
  • Will provide assistance to roofers, electricians, HVAC, security and inspectors necessary facility information so they can complete their tasks.
  • Always following safety protocol and advises of any unsafe situations.
  • Processes all other tasks assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

· High School Diploma and 2-4 yrs of handyman experience

YOU MUST HAVE LANDSCAPING EXPERIENCE 

· Must be forklift certified

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Knowledge of landscaping maintenance to enrich our landscaping not to just chop and blow.

· General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting and minor construction.

· Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills

· Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

· Ability to multi-task and balance multiple assignments

· Professional approach utilizing good judgment and creative problem-solving abilities

· Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules set forth; promotes the Company’s safety standards.

· Standing for long periods of time.

· Bending, swatting, climbing, on a regular basis

· Lifting 25 lbs without assistance and with assistance 50 lbs

· Vision must be good or corrected to normal to perform normal job duties.

· Hearing must be good to have the ability to hear and understand information to perform job duties.

· Ability to read and write in English to process paperwork and follow up on any actions necessary.

· Manual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks.

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

· Must be able to work in a warehouse with flexible temperature conditions because most of the job is outside.

· Employee may be frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
