We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to help lead our team on medium size construction projects. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter to join a team that's committed to providing exceptional service. The successful candidate will have at least five years of experience supervising sites with emphasis on construction of sidewalks, landscapes and ADA ramps. The candidate should alos have a working knowledge of project management practices and time and cost estimation.
The candidate that has experience in construction of buildings and/or facilities projects with primary focus on concrete work is desired. The candidate will work with us on construction of the sidewalk and landscape at an existing courthouse in downtown Manhattan NY.
The job duties and experience will include the following: review shop drawings, SSP, coordination with other trades, constructability review, design changes, review construction documents packages for cost, completeness, constructability, and compliance. experience in relevant projects with emphasis on concrete and landscape, experience working for a general contractor overseeing similar construction. project management, bid management, RFP, cost control, coordinate with client. manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management. Structural engineering experience required with emphasis on concrete construction. Ability to perform QA/QC of construction processes. Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Understanding of steel design softwares. Experience in Procore or other construction management software is preferred. Experience with Blue-Beam and or Adobe PDF Pro.
