INFINITEK are seeking experienced Machinists for multiple full-time positions, including Industrial Machinists and CNC Machinists. If you have a passion for precision machining and thrive in a challenging and rewarding environment, we invite you to apply.

For the Industrial Machinist role, you will set up and operate manual machines to produce high-quality components with accuracy and efficiency. Familiarity with manually controlled machines and benchwork in fabrication, maintenance, repair, and alteration of machinery, machine parts, tools, and equipment is essential.

For the CNC Machinist role, you will set up and operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precise components efficiently. Expertise in programming, operating, and maintaining CNC machines is required.

Key Responsibilities for Both Roles:

  • Set up, adjust, and operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and instructions
  • Machine parts from metal materials
  • Properly and safely set up holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials
  • Determine the appropriate tools, inserts, fixtures, and tooling for given tasks
  • Operate and utilize lifting aids as necessary
  • Use gauges and precision measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
  • Perform daily cleaning and light maintenance on machinery and equipment
  • Work safely and responsibly, maintaining a clean working environment
  • Work overtime as needed, including evenings and weekends
  • Communicate and coordinate with others

Preferred Skills for Industrial Machinist:

  • Experience with Heavy Duty Horizontal Lathes, Milling Machines, Horizontal Boring Mills, Vertical Turning Lathes, Planers, Grinders, Drill Presses, Hydraulic Presses, Band Saws, and Portable Tools
  • Proficiency in Turning, Drilling, Tapping, Boring, Honing, and Polishing processes
  • Experience with large part machining (e.g., ship components)
  • In-place machining experience

Preferred Skills for CNC Machinist:

  • Familiarity with Heavy Industrial Lathes, Grinders, Boring Mills, Planers, and Portable tools
  • Turn, Drill, Tap, Bore, Hone, Polish and Threading machine processes
  • Large part machining experience (e.g., ship propeller shafting, ship steering gear)
  • Forklift and Crane operation experience
  • Extensive experience with CNC machinery like CNC Mills, Lathes, etc.
  • Expertise in CNC programming (G-code, CAM, etc.)
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software
  • Setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines
