Your Responsibilities wil
- Provide face-to-face peer services to people with mental health and substance use disorders and other behavioral health challenges and link them to needed community resources.
- Complete and maintain accurate records and reports regarding the patients' histories and progress, services provided, and other required information.
- Intervene as an advocate for patients or patients to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations.
- Plan and implement follow-up and aftercare programs for patients to be discharged from treatment programs.
- Coordinate activities with a primary counselor, courts, probation officers, community services, and other post-treatment agencies.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate public education, prevention, and health promotion programs, working in collaboration with organizations, institutions, and communities.
