Location: Southern Maryland

Our client who is a specialty retailer, ranked within the top two of their space, is looking for a dynamic and experienced District Manager who is eager to receive uncapped monthly and quarterly bonuses for sales increases within set district as well as achieving profitable sales. We are looking for a District Manager who is hands-on and enjoys being in the stores, assisting with floor setups, overseeing the operations of 13-14 stores and coaching teams to success. You will help develop a new district for the company through its expansion efforts. Having managed commissioned based teams is a huge plus This opportunity offers a competitive salary plus NO cap bonus plan, quarterly and monthly bonuses

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:

· 3+ years’ experience as a District Sales Manager, Multi-Unit Sales Manager

· Worked in or managed a salary plus commission sales environment

· Skilled in training, coaching, and developing teams

· Great Work Ethic

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Plan and coordinate business operations in district offices to achieve financial goals.
  • Perform resource allocation, workload assignment and schedule management for assigned projects.
  • Manage a team of professionals on daily basis to meet or exceed company objectives.
  • Identify skill gaps and schedule trainings to team members.
  • Address team concerns and provide direction whenever needed.
  • Ensure that all business operations are done in accordance with company standards.
  • Resolve all customer issues and ensure to provide outstanding customer services.
  • Conduct performance evaluation of team members and provide feedback for improvements.
  • Build strong working relationships and maintain effective communications with team members.
  • Identify business challenges and suggest appropriate action plans.
  • Develop new business strategies for business growth and revenue generation.
  • Build positive working and learning environment for team members.
  • Prepare budgets, control expenses, and identify revenue opportunities.
  • Assist in employee recruitment, promotion, retention and termination activities.
  • Ensure that teams follow company policies and procedures at all times.
