Sponsors, owns, and leads very large and highly complex projects Serves as a firm expert both internally and externally on highly complex and technical issues (including processes, technical components, all interfaces, security, and customer IT processes) and top level requirements. Establishes procedures for customer problem resolution processes, quality standards and cycle time goals. Manages activities and functional areas of the most complex customer problem resolution, assisting from the start in developing top level requirements documents, subcontractor selection and requirement/design process management to ensure that quality is delivered and cycle time standards are met. Multiple significant subcontractors. Potential for type relationships. Specialty contracts likely. Multiple customers and stakeholders. Large size organizations with senior executive level contacts. Individual contributor Indirect oversight of multiple disciplines within the project team. Consulting with customers to assess current problems states, define desired future states, define solution architectures, and make solutions recommendations. Leading Practice, Offering, geographic or global strategic business and/or technical engagement, project, or technical teams as required Influences Company services solutions, technology and product directions Thought leader and highly respected technical strategist in areas of expertise Trusted technical adviser to senior executives Team builder with ability to address organizational boundary challenges Understands organizational resources, priorities, needs and policies Works collaboratively and builds relationships with other internal professionals, customers, and third parties A coaching, mentoring frame of mind ability to teach and transfer knowledge to others Demonstrated customer engagement and project management experience Relevant consulting, fee based services experience. Demonstrated complex customer engagement experience, with multiple large, strategic projects, preferably some global Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining relationships with high-level customers Ability to work independently and maintain accountability to management.
