Electronic Engineering Technician’s Job Description:

  • Perform functional confirmation, electronic test, and repair of radar-based consumer products.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, repair, and calibrate electronic devices at board level or system level.
  • Assemble engineering prototypes and assist with pre-production builds.
  • Initiate and maintain equipment calibration in the engineering lab.
  • Have experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscope, power supplies and signal generators.
  • Be experienced and able to use hand tools and small power tools.
  • Familiarity with LabVIEW a plus.
  • Familiarity with Altium circuit board design and layout a plus.
  • Some company travel required.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Electronic Engineering Technician or related work experience.
  • Computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Good customer relations and communication skills and can deal effectively with others.
  • Strong aptitude for troubleshooting of electronic, electromechanical and electric circuits.
  • Be able to read and understand electronic schematics, technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.
