Job DescriptionJob Description

Keane Fire & Safety, an established family-owned Fire Safety Company since 1947 is seeking a Fire Suppression Technician to join our team in Waltham, MA. This position will be responsible for inspecting and servicing kitchen fire suppression systems and some industrial systems, no experience necessary.

Licensed Technicians are a plus with negotiable salary, but not required, WE WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATES

Job Requirements:

  • Inspect, service and make sure all parts are operable.
  • Perform thorough inspections and identify any problems and issues.
  • Coordinate with Alarm companies and the Fire Department
  • Comply with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) #96,17 and 17A Standards
  • No previous fire suppression experience necessary, there is 4-to-6-month training.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years old
  • Must be able to work early hours
  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Must be a team player with a clean driving record
  • Must be professional and possess good customer service to our clients
  • Must have 2-3 years working history in any field
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Our technicians must be vaccinated and boosted
