Insurance Defense Legal Assistant Medical Malpractice Experience a plus Duties include but are not limited to the following:• - General attorney support• - Digital dictation;• - Issuing and following up on subpoenas;• - Maintaining attorneys' calendar;• - Scheduling, coordinating, and confirming hearings, depositions, and mediations;• - Preparing and drafting correspondence and pleadings;• - Answering and propounding discovery;• - E-filing with State/Federal courts
  • Interested candidates must be punctual, detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to take the initiative in handling projects and anticipating what needs to be done.
  • Ability to understand and follow specific and detailed instructions in oral and written form.
  • Knowledge of state and federal court rules and e-filing procedures.
  • Excellent typing skills; Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and document management applications (preferably Prolaw but not required
  • Full-time / In Office
Experience: Minimum of 5 years
