Job DescriptionJob Description

AYER Quality Engineering LLC (AYER) is recruiting an entry-level engineer or engineering graduate (Chemical or Environmental preferred) who is interested in pursuing a career in environmental consulting for industrial clients. Strong communication skills are a must, as is demonstrated strength in engineering fundamentals.

 

AYER serves clients in various industries, including aerospace, chemicals, and coating operations. AYER provides support services for several environmental programs, with an emphasis on Clean Air Act compliance.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • US citizenship
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical or Environmental Engineering Preferred)
  • Demonstrated skills in data analysis using Microsoft Excel
  • Highly organized
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional and courteous demeanor suited to providing premium customer service
  • Self-motivated, dependable, comfortable with understanding and meeting deadlines

 

Clients require US citizenship to work at their sites; from experience, hiring a non-citizen is not feasible for the services AYER provides. This is a full-time position. Current seniors are welcome to apply. Candidates may begin in part-time employment (approximately 20 hours per week) before transitioning to full-time employment.
