Estimator - Residential Construction

Sea Pointe is looking for an experienced Estimator who can join our team and oversee the planning and estimating of home remodeling projects. You'll collaborate with our awesome design team and skilled production team to accurately budget and plan kitchens, bathrooms and home additions. This role is a great opportunity for a project manager looking to retire from day-to-day client interactions
What you’ll do:
- Facilitate all construction budgets and contracts for our kitchen, bathroom, and whole home remodeling projects.
- Manage onsite meetings with designers, project manager and subcontractors to obtain accurate bids.
- Create and compile budgets for projects including trade pricing and in-house labor pricing.
- Complete material take-offs from architectural plans
- Collaborate and manage our trade contractor relationships.
- Collaborate and educate our interior designers on the how, what, whys of project construction and budgeting
This role collaborates with our family of trade contractors and internal project managers to ensure that contracts match the budgets and that our interior designers understand the cost involved in each project.
We are seeking someone who is team orientated, intellectually curious and open minded. This person is able to execute by working quickly to make decisions and taking action in an environment of limited resources.

What you’ll need:
- 5+ years of residential construction experience, with a proven track record of successfully managing and budgeting construction projects.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and/or other estimating programs, with a strong ability to manipulate data and perform complex calculations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to convey ideas and information effectively to various stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to work closely with sales and design teams to achieve collective goals.
- Unquestionable integrity and ethics, demonstrating honesty, professionalism, and reliability in all aspects of your work.
