Requirements:

 

  • Minimum of 5 years of diesel engine experience.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair diesel engines.

  • Ability to perform routine preventative maintenance on all equipment.

  • Ability to read and understand work orders.

  • Experience with roll off trucks and trailers.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and must have your own tools.

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines using diagnostic tools such as diagnostic software and test equipment such as O2 sensors, O2 pressure sensors, O3 catalytic convertors etc.

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on all equipment including oil change, air filter etc.

  • Repair and replace hydraulic systems on pumps, valves etc.

  • Install new parts such as oil filters, fuel filters etc. in engines using tools such as hand tools, hydraulic pumps and power tools.

  • Proficient with DOT regulations and safety hazards.
