Overview:

Baton Rouge, LA  Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an experienced Warehouse Order/Mail Clerk

SUMMARY

This position processes and fills orders, accepts incoming shipments, ensures timeliness and accuracy of filled orders, stores materials and items within the warehouse, performs general organization of the warehouse.

Essential Duties:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

·         Fills orders using LLC’s inventory control system

·         Assist with shipping, receiving, sorting loading, and unloading trucks

·         Handles complaints related to shipments; notifies supervisor of any shipping or receiving issues.

·         Fill shelves or in bins; pull, scan, and package items or materials for shipment;

·         Operate all motorized equipment (including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks and shredders,) safely and in accordance with all  state and federal laws

periodically or as assigned.

·         Pick up and deliver mail to post office; sort incoming mail for distribution; and prepare letters, circulars and packages for mailing

·         Use company vehicle to transport items to headquarters

·         Perform other duties within the scope of job assignment as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements/Skills:

High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED); proficient in knowledge in use of inventory control systems; general knowledge of warehouse procedures; ability to use standard warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (hand trucks, box cutters, forklift, pallet jack, etc.).

Must possess a valid Louisiana driver's license.

Must have or obtain and maintain a forklift certification

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
