Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead engineering, project management, and technical guidance for hydroelectric projects.

  • Identify and cultivate new application opportunities, driving product innovation and strategic implementation.

  • Craft tailored proposals that resonate with market demands and client objectives.

  • Oversee engineering design and project management for hydro controls and mechanical systems, guaranteeing alignment with client specifications.

  • Deliver comprehensive site design, oversight, and consultancy to enhance customer hydro installation experiences.

  • Conduct educational sessions for clients, engineers, and industry bodies, promoting the benefits of our product suite.

  • Contribute to the service division's growth, bolstering market presence and profitability.

  • Manage budgeting processes and performance evaluations for team members.

  • This role entails over 35% travel across the United States, facilitating on-site project success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.S.E.E.)

  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification is highly regarded.

  • 5+ years' experience in engineering for hydro turbine control applications.

  • 5+ years' leadership experience in hydro controls and mechanical retrofit projects.

  • Willingness to travel to client sites for equipment installation oversight, system startups, maintenance, and training.

  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications.

  • Physical capability to perform on-site duties in various hydro power plant settings.
