We are looking for a RECEPTIONIST to join our team We are a local, full service accounting firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and support guests arriving to the office
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls in a professional manner
  • Prepare office for the day, check calendars, ensure common areas are tidy, conference rooms are meeting ready, etc.
  • Manage conference rooms
  • Point person for mailing, shipping, and miscellaneous errands
  • Help monitor and maintain office supplies, other inventory (kitchen supplies, snacks, water) and restock as needed.
  • Ensure reception area is presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (pens, business cards, brochures)
  • Assist admin team in administrative tasks such as scanning, maintaining calendars and scheduling meetings
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience providing customer service in a professional office setting. Accounting firm experience is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Calendar, internet navigation, and demonstrated ability to learn new applications
  • Strong office management and administrative skills including the ability to manage and organize hard-copy and electronic files and filing systems.
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Exhibits attention to detail, good judgement and professional etiquette
  • High school diploma or greater
