Position Overview:

As an Office Manger at DW Langdon Masonry, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our office. Your responsibilities will include providing administrative support, managing emails, handling bookkeeping tasks, and assisting with payroll. We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual with experience in QuickBooks and a strong aptitude for multitasking. Full-Time/Part-Time position depending on your schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage administrative tasks to support daily operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and overseeing incoming contracts.
  • Utilize QuickBooks to assist with payroll processing and maintaining financial records.
  • Handle bookkeeping duties, such as reconciling accounts, tracking expenses, and paying bills.
  • Assist with HR-related tasks, including maintaining employee records, processing payroll, and coordinating employee benefits.
  • Organize and maintain filing systems, both digital and physical, to ensure easy access to important documents.
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a construction or similar industry. Experience is not needed, but preferred. Must be a quick learner.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe.
  • Familiarity with basic HR processes and payroll/CPR is a plus.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
