Position Summary: The Residential Cleaner is responsible for the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the apartment community’s public facilities, common areas, and grounds. This role also involves cleaning apartments for new residents following the property’s operational objectives, under the supervision of the Community Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sweep, scrub, and mop floors.
- Clean and sanitize appliances.
- Vacuum carpets.
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
- Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
- Empty and clean trash containers, disposing of waste in a sanitary manner.
- Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
- Wipe down glass surfaces and clean windows.
- Operate mechanized cleaning equipment.
- Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary condition.
- Monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements.
- Clean office spaces, laundry rooms, gyms, and other amenities.
- Organize work schedule based on move-in and move-out lists.
- Ensure all appliances in units are in working condition.
- Follow company safety and security procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Observe and report any damages to the immediate supervisor.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering as needed.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements:

- Experience with cleaning sensitive materials.
- Proficient in operating cleaning equipment.
- Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to reach, kneel, and bend.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull loads typically around 30 lbs.
