Overview:

Moody National Management Company is actively seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for our vibrant apartment community. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness in public areas of the apartment complex.
  • Prepare individual apartments for new residents by ensuring they are clean and welcoming.
  • Respond professionally and promptly to resident inquiries and concerns.

Essential Duties:

  • Thoroughly clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, and other communal spaces, including floors, walls, ceilings, windows, and woodwork.
  • Polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, metalwork, and trim to maintain a pristine appearance.
  • Clean kitchen appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and microwave ovens.
  • Manage waste disposal by transporting trash to designated areas.
  • Replace light bulbs as needed to ensure proper lighting.
  • Identify and report safety hazards to property management.
  • Facilitate communication by delivering messages between property staff and residents.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Experience and Skills:

  • Familiarity with safety and security protocols and the ability to operate commercial housekeeping equipment safely.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions for effective task execution.
  • Strong command of the English language; proficiency in a second language is a plus.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Customer-focused approach with strong organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Adherence to corporate and brand standards and procedures.

Education:

High School education is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience:

A minimum of 6 months of relevant work experience in a similar role is required.

Work Environment:

This position operates within an apartment complex and routinely utilizes standard housekeeping equipment. Exposure to commercial and household cleaning chemicals is expected. Work hours and days may vary, and the role involves both indoor and occasional outdoor tasks.
