Job Summary

The Lending Software Manager will review, analyze and evaluate business systems and mortgage operation needs. The Lending Software Manager will document, refine and formulate systems and procedures to promote business strategies and compliance requirements. They evaluate new and alternate technologies then plan and execute implementation of new technologies.

Job Duties

  • Develop, maintain, and support third-party technical systems to ensure maximum utility
  • Provide support to business units by working ticket requests
  • Maintain relationships with operations managers to help determine their needs
  • Coordinate roll-out of engineering projects and process improvements
  • Use system data to evaluate current processes to identify inconsistencies and irregularities in operations
  • Review reports to assist in the creation of metrics and to track goals for process improvement
  • Continual education to learn about new technologies, techniques or processes
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedural and instructional manuals
  • Ability to prioritize competing tasks and work independently
  • Must be capable of adapting, with minimal or no advance notice, to changes in how business is conducted and work is accomplished, with no diminishment in work performance
  • Explore and correct business rule errors
  • Interact with the software providers to address and correct issues
  • Perform software updates and provide oral and/or written communication to the staff pertaining to specific changes from the developer
  • Implement and maintain a tracking software to provide a source for what rules are in effect and what personas have access to in terms of fields and file
  • Assist and assess the systems maintain regulatory compliance reviews using tactics and rules to avoid inconsistencies in data

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment, located in Richardson, Texas. However, if the perfect candidate comes along, we are willing to consider a remote-work arrangement.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in technology or relevant technical field or equivalent experience
  • Advanced computer skills and intuitively able to learn new systems
  • Minimum of 3 years of mortgage experience or financial industry preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Encompass in a Processing or similar capacity
  • Previous statistics or analytics experience preferred
  • Previous experience in a Support/Helpdesk environment preferred
