Hours per Week: 30 to 32 hours
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Pharmacist for a full-time contract position in an inpatient hospital setting. This is a 13-week assignment with rotating shifts and weekends.
Shift Details:
- First Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Second Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Rotating Weekends
Responsibilities
As a Staff Pharmacist, you will:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug information.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Utilize the Cerner computer system for pharmacy operations.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year working in an inpatient pharmacy.
- Computer System: Experience with Cerner is a plus.
- Licensure: Must hold a valid Illinois pharmacy license.
