SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

This position works under the supervision of the Bill Review Supervisor/Director. The Bill Review Coordinator supports the bill review process by receiving and prepping all bills that come into the office, assigning the bills to the appropriate client, running required exports, invoices and reports, performing checkoffs daily, and reconciling the invoicing on a monthly basis. The Bill Review Coordinator also assists with incoming phone calls, including greeting callers, screening calls, and directing callers to the appropriate location. Executes client service at or above departmental standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prep all bills that are received from clients
  • Assigns the bills to the appropriate client in bill review software
  • Assists in vendor and claim additions by returning bills to appropriate parties for obtaining required information
  • Adheres to ongoing confidentiality rules, HIPAA laws as regards to admin
  • Scans and/or indexes bills as required by client
  • Opens all incoming mail and faxes and delivers to appropriate recipient
  • Screens and appropriately route provider inquiry calls
  • References computer system for review status
  • Exports payment files as dictated by client requirements
  • Runs savings reports as dictated by client requirements and distributes to appropriate parties
  • Generates invoices as dictated by client requirements and distributes to appropriate parties
  • Answers telephone calls in a professional manner, screens calls, announces and transfers calls appropriately, takes accurate messages and delivers them timely to recipients.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in customer relations/service
  • 1+ years business experience
  • High school education or equivalent
