Midway Vacations is the Aloha State's vacation management rental company of choice, dedicated to setting a new standard of care for our properties, clients, and team members. Role Description

The Property Operations and Maintenance Department Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property maintenance department. This full-time role will be based in Honolulu, HI and will require on-site presence. The coordinator will work closely with the property management team, maintenance staff, and contractors to ensure that all maintenance and repair tasks are completed efficiently and within budget. Additionally, the coordinator will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, coordinating schedules, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.


Work Schedule:

Days: 5 days per week (with periodical weekend shifts)

Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with flexibility based on operational needs)

Key Responsibilities:

·        Coordinate with the team the day-to-day physical operations of the vacation rental properties.

·         Enter tasks and work orders into the property management software system.

·        Coordinate and prioritize maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to quality standards.

·        Conduct thorough inspections of properties to ensure compliance with company standards and guest expectations.

·        Schedule maintenance services/ repairs, if needed.

·        Manage and coordinate all physical aspects of the properties, including guest assistance, repairs, maintenance, and periodic inspections.

·        Coordinate any issues arising from property emergencies (fire, flood, hurricane, etc.) and facilitate all insurance assessments, repair estimates and renovation work

·        Log all property-specific activities and provide detailed communication to Midway's management to ensure accurate billing and reporting of Midway's services

·        Retain documentation related to all expenses and submit receipts and invoices to Midway's accounting department in accordance with Midway's policies and procedures

·        Assist with administrative support in the office

·        Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

·        Utilize property management software to track maintenance activities, monitor inventory, and generate reports.

·        

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional setting.

·        Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve excellence.

·        Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing maintenance challenges.

·        Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.

·        Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Compensation:

Annual salary $55,000 to $60,000 depending on experience.
