About us

Couts Heating & Cooling, Inc has been in the HVAC industry for over 40 years and is expanding our Service Base in Southern California and currently looking for Skilled HVAC Technicians.  The technician must be independent, self-motivated, an experienced in Commercial HVAC Service with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.

 

Job Description
Our technicians work primarily on commercial/ industrial accounts consisting of various rooftop units, split systems, furnaces, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, makeup air units and more.

 

Preferred abilities.

  • Startup, diagnose, and maintain per manufacturers specs, various rooftop units, Centrifugal Chillers, Air Cooled Chillers, Refrigeration, Boilers, VRF Systems, DX Splits, Variable Frequency Drives, Boilers, Cooling Towers, Exhaust & Supply Fans.
  • Experience with VAV, VVT, Multi-zone buildings.
  • Knowledge of specialized computer room equipment.
  • Familiarity with EMS systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance.
  • Participate in the “On Call” rotation.
  • Respond to emergency service requests.

 

Required Qualifications.

  • 5+ years of HVAC Service Technician Experience.
  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Service hand tools.
  • Demonstrate advanced customer service skills and can communicate ideas and provide explanations of problems to customers and coworkers.
  • Strong diagnostic abilities.
  • Clean appearance.
  • Clean driving record.
  • EPA Universal Certification.
  • Must pass “Live Scan” to work on Schools, Hospitals, and Public Works Projects.
