Chafin Communities is a residential home builder seeking a qualified individual to act as a
Construction Assistant Builder. In this position you will assist with overseeing the construction of
residential community amenities such as clubhouses, pool cabanas, pools, sports courts, parks, landscaping, etc. The preferred experience is 2+ years as an assistant.
The Candidate must have knowledge of construction and job-site safety procedures. The ideal
candidate possesses strong organizational skills with scheduling and oversee day to day operations
regarding quality control.
Background Drug testing required.
Job Type: Full Time
Work Location: Multiple Locations
This position is responsible to manage and coordinate all construction activities for assigned projects,. This position will also be responsible for the following;
validating schedule progression, coordinating on-site inspections through out the
construction process and obtain the certificate of occupancy, maintaining a
healthy work relationship with sub-contractors, and responsible for a timely
coding and processing of invoices for all construction / services/ purchases
performed throughout the region. Attendance required weekly to meet at home
office to rectify invoices and statements for continuous jobs.
What you Bring to the table
2+ years of experience as an assistant or in construction home building.
Has knowledge of safety procedures on construction job sites
Able to self-perform components of the construction process in order to mitigate
the total cost of construction.
Multitasker with good organization skills.
Coordinates work with Area Manager/Onsite Superintendent
