Job DescriptionJob Description

POSITION SUMMARY: Assist Early Head Start (EHS) Teacher/Center Specialist in developing and promoting a quality program for children and families to ensure performance standards are met. Responsibilities include meal and snack preparation and maintaining and cleaning the facility daily to ensure regulations are met.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Recruit ECP volunteers
  2. Implement curriculum in accordance with guidelines/training
  3. Obtain and document inkind
  4. Develop and maintain consistent community partnerships
  5. Case coordination with the Teacher/Center Specialist
  6. Promote school readiness for children, families, and community members
  7. Participate in all required meetings and trainings
  8. Adhere to all CNCAP policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Highschool diploma or GED; prefer AA or BA in Early Childhood
  2. Valid driver's license
  3. Experience cooking and cleaning being around infants and toddlers

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  1. Problem-solving skills
  2. Communication skills
  3. knowledge in word, excel, powerpoint, and databases
  4. Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  5. Demonstrated ability to work with others

SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday: 7am - 5pm

REPORTS TO: Infant/Toddler Teacher Center Specialist

JOB STATUS: Temporary Full-Time, 40 hours per week

PAY: $14.00 per hour

FLSA STATUS: Hourly/Non-Exempt
