We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to become a part of our team You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical office running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Scribe two days a week, MA duties three days a week
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
- Verifies patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit
- Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt
- Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare or other related fields
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Professionalism
- Customer focus
- Medical teamwork
- Experience with Athena is a plus
