THE OPPORTUNITY: Physician Assistants or Family Nurse Practitioners - Primary Care with some Psychiatric Medication Management

THE LOCATION: Durham, North Carolina

Ready for a change? We have an excellent, full time opportunity available for an experienced FNP and PA who wishes to provide (mostly) primary care with some psychiatric medication management to patients in Durham, North Carolina. In this role, you will see mostly adults, but about 25% of the patients you will see will be children and adolescents. Approximately 80% of job responsibilities will be primary care related. You will be based in Durham, but some coverage in Wake Forest will be required.

This practice is very stable and well established and the focus is on providing the highest level of patient care. The staff is friendly and team oriented to work with and a great mentoring environment is provided.

** FNPs and PAs must have at least one year of primary care experience. **

THE DETAILS

-12-15 patients/day

-Mondays-Fridays / 9am-5pm- 4 clinical and 1 admin day

-No weekends

-Mostly adults / some children and adolescents (younger patients are mostly age 5-18 years old)

-Mostly primary care with some psychiatric medication management

-W2 employed position

-Excellent compensation and benefits package

QUALIFICATIONS

** Unrestricted FNP or PA license in North Carolina is required

**Qualified PAs and FNPs must have at least one year of primary care experience as a FNP or PA

**Must be computer savvy

**Willingness to see adults, children and adolescents is required
