This position is 100% in person in our Cranston office and can lead to a full-time opportunity for the right candidate. Responsibilities: Data Gathering and Organization· Assist advisors in collecting client data· Gather and organize data· Identify missing dataData Entry and Analysis· Enter data into financial planning software· Check data entry via self-audit· Perform preliminary case analysisDeliverable Creation· Create financial planning deliverable per advisor specifications· Work with advisor to identify strategies· Prepare preliminary client recommendations for advisor· Edit final document to make it a client-friendly, professional deliverableOther· Self-directed workflow· Perform other financial analysis as requested by advisors Qualifications: Must haves·       The ability to interpret financial statements and learn financial planning software·       Strong analytical and writing skills·       Strong attention to detail, positive attitude and desire to learn·       An interest in financial planning and investment management.·       Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and the ability to learn financial planning software.·       Ability to work independently·       Ability to adhere to rules and regulations required by advisors, Ameriprise Financial and FINRA (Financial Industry Regulation Authority)·       High School Diploma, or equivalent Nice to Haves· Bachelor’s Degree
