Job Description:
The Technical Proposal Writer will write and edit proposal content for Information Technology (IT)-related technical solutions. The Technical Proposal Writer will work closely with executive leadership and the business development team to write and tailor technical solution content in response to government-issued solicitations, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs). The candidate will participate in technical solutioning and content strategy sessions to assist in shaping compelling and customer-focused proposal responses. The ideal candidate will have experience developing IT services-focused proposal content for federal clients. 

Core responsibilities include:
•    Review and analyze solicitation documents, such as the Performance Work Statement (PWS), in the proposal planning phase to align technical requirements with the written response.
•    Interview Technical Solutions Architects and conduct additional research to gather technical information to support solution content development.
•    Convey highly technical information into compelling, clear, and logically organized written content that addresses customer needs.
•    Collaborate with the Business Development team to develop proposal win themes, differentiators, and writing strategies from a technical perspective.
•    Provide high-quality feedback and constructive criticism during color team reviews to refine and improve proposal responses.
•    Assist the Technical Solutions Architect in conceptualizing and creating graphics to convey key processes and components of the technical solution to the customer.
•    Assist with developing and maintaining standard procedures, documentation, and technical content repository to streamline proposal development and increase efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications and Required Skills:
•    Degree in technical writing, information technology, computer science, or similar discipline.
•    3+ years of proposal development for federal clients.
•    5+ years of technical writing experience.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications such as SharePoint, Teams, Word, etc.
•    Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Understanding of agile methodologies, software development processes, and project management practices.
•    Experience with and understanding of ServiceNow modules and implementation.
