Office Assistant Part-Time

We are seeking a responsible and reliable part-time Office Assistant, with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. The tasks of this position will be diverse, incorporating a number of tasks and shared responsibilities with other staff. We are a professional educational development training program with a 30+ year history, and still growing. Our Certification program is an evidence-based practice and includes a credentialing recertification process annually, which requires supervision and accountability. The Office Assistant working closely with the founder, and Admin Assistant will gain the skills and understanding to assist our Program’s growth. We are looking for a lasting relationship with the right leadership, with energy and motivation to help drive our company successfully. Weekdays needed include Monday - Thursday - 18 - 24 hours to begin. Pay range depends on experience. Some flexible hours.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in a broad variety of office responsibilities in relation to program
- Direct communication with our membership via phone or emails
- Emails and Online Renewal System, LMS system
- Draft correspondence, file system, and assist with other documents as assigned
- Assist in organizing, scheduling and posting events and trainings online
- Implement and keep organized filing systems, both manually and electronically
- Perform all other office tasks including assisting in shipping materials for courses and students materials
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an office office assistant and/or relevant role (degree preferred)
- Ability to prioritize and multitask, meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (phone and email)
- Strong attention to detail, multitask abilities
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Creative, flexible, motivated for success, positive attitude
- Ability to stand on feet for extended periods of time, depending on the project
- Ability to lift 30 pounds and climb a short ladder
- Graphic skills a plus - access to designed flyers and promotional materials* a must
Office Skills Required:
- Proficient computer skills. Operating systems Macintosh OS and Windows, then followed by PC
- Accurate minimum typing skill 50 wpm (tested)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. We have a variety of accreditations, endorsement documents and contracts, correspondence through emails
- Database: Filemaker Pro, Quickbooks
- Microsoft 365
- Experience Website : Word Press, Woo Commerce, LMS
- Applications: google docs, google workspace
- Proficient knowledge with social media platforms : Facebook, Instagram
- Graphic skills would be very helpful as we have a newsletter, Adobe, Photoshop, InDesign*
