Job DescriptionJob Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned

·         Mechanical and electrical cabling system installation and troubleshooting

·         System test and verification of the equipment from start to finish

·         Assemble and test various sub-assemblies

·         Record  test results

·         Write NMRs for non-functional assemblies

·         System troubleshoot to the component level

·         Work independently and in team environment, both intra and interdepartmentally

·         Have a very high level of product knowledge

·         Attend and complete all required training and certification exams

·         Required to wear dosimeter when in direct contact with radiation emitting devices

 

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education & experience

  • Associates Degrees in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Networking, or related discipline preferred
  • Technical training and 5 years of experience with medical or complex capital equipment preferred
  • Knowledge and ability to work with various hand and power tools
  • Knowledge and ability to read schematics and the use of DVMs
  • Knowledge and ability to interpret BOMS and assembly drawings
  • Knowledge and ability to work with measuring and test equipment such as venires, torque gauges, power supplies, scopes, multi-meters and more

·         Experience with mechanical devices, tools and test equipment, telecommunications systems, and working knowledge of computer networking

  • ISO, FDA, CMDR Awareness Training and Product Complaint System, or Certification – Health Stream
  • Must demonstrate fluent English verbal and written communication skills and work effectively in a demanding, fast paced environment

·         In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire

 

COMPUTER & ANALYTIC SKILLS

  • You must be comfortable with technology, and be able demonstrate proficiency with MS Office package, including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint; as well as Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome
