Open Position: 3rd Shift Machine Operator

  • Rate: $23/hour
  • Shift: 3rd shift (training will be on 1st 6am to 2pm or 2nd 2pm to 10pm)
  • Location: East Providence RI
    • Hours 3rd shift 10pm to 6:30am
    • Schedule:  Sunday -Thursday

Key Responsibilities of the Machine Operator

  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Work with automated machines to ensure they produce quality products.
  • Monitor Systems: Keep an eye on the machines and run regular checks to ensure they are working correctly.
  • Data Analysis: Look at data from the machines to spot any issues and improve efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting: If something goes wrong, figure out the problem and fix it, whether it’s mechanical, electrical, or software-related.
  • Reporting: Provide updates and reports to the VP of Operations when needed.
  • Teamwork: Work with others to solve problems and keep things running smoothly.
  • Safety and Procedures: Follow safety guidelines, company policies, and industry standards. Wear required safety gear and maintain a clean workspace.
  • Flexibility: Be ready to work outside normal hours if needed and take on other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications of the Machine Operator

  • Education: An Associate’s Degree in Automation Technology or Mechatronics is preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment, particularly with high-speed production equipment.
  • Skills:
    • Knowledge of machine controls, including troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Problem-solving skills and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
    • Strong communication, attention to detail, and time management skills.
