Customer Operations Representative

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual able to work in a fast-paced environment in our Metairie, LA brokerage office. If you are interested in a rewarding position with a growing division of one of the largest temperature-controlled transportation companies in the nation, come and join our team at KLLM Logistics Services, a division of KLLM Transport Services, LLC. This position combines customer service, data entry, appointment scheduling, and supporting the operations and sales group for optimal service to our customers and carriers.

As a Customer Operations Representative, you will serve as the primary contact for our customers. By working together with our operations and sales teams, you will provide clients with the highest level of service to ensure ultimate customer satisfaction in order to retain their business and grow their accounts.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Maintain contact with customers to determine their daily shipping needs

· Order Entry

· Scheduling of pickup and delivery appointments with an understanding of transit time

· Tracking and tracing of shipments

  • Consistently communicate with our customers and operations team on any transit or shipping issues
  • Assist with any administrative and accounting needs
  • Recommend process improvements and implement once approved

· Work as liaison between KLLM Operations Team and Sales Team

· Identify and immediately resolve customer issues with sense of urgency

· Create Solutions and provide options for customer needs

· Complete all administrative tasks to ensure 100% customer Satisfaction

  • Learn system functionalities for backup coverage to operations group


QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge and experience in the brokerage industry preferred, but not required

• Basic computer and typing skills

• Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills

• Conflict management skills

• Superior phone and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to work in a team environment, while delivering independent results

• Perform with a sense of urgency

• Excellent work ethic, coachable, and positive attitude

• Attention to detail

• Punctual on a daily basis
