Position: Estimator - For multiple type of projects: Commercial Ground Up,  Commercial Tenant Improvements , Public Works (Mostly Schools) , and Painting

Location: Sacramento, CA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for all projects. Must be able to break down components by trade and
  • Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
  • Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
  • Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.

Preferred Experience:

  • Proven experience with government agencies, municipalities, school districts, and Public Works projects.
  • Adept at using estimating software and Excel to deliver precise bids.

Qualifications:

  •  
  • Must have experience in submitting estimates and bids
  • At least 5 years of experience in paint estimation or a related field.
  • Must be able to do take offs and pricing
  • Must be familiar with OST, Procore, Planet Bids
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
