Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the daily business                                                        operations of the store

· Scheduling

· Training employees

· Weekly bank deposits

· Managing cash registers

· Controlling inventory to ensure the store is stocked, maintained daily and weekly counts, rotated, and changed displays by season.

· Working closely with the Store Manager for all staffing needs, disciplinary action, and reviews

· Customer Service

Job Requirements:

· Must be able to handle multi-tasking and be goal-and-results-oriented.

· Must have strong time management skills to meet deadlines.

· Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.

· Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.

· Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

· Must effectively handle workplace problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.

· Have good computer skills.

· Prior experience working in a thrift, clothing, or retail store.

· Be able to lift at least 30 lbs.

· Have reliable transportation.

· Bilingual a plus
