Position: Patient Care Coordinator
Status: (Part-Time) 24-30 Hours
Salary: $20.00 – 25.00/hour
Location: Easton/Salisbury
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you are the first line of customer service for all patients and visitors entering our practice. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you are responsible for responding to patient questions and concerns, both on the telephone and in person. It is important that you uphold the practice mission by assuring the delivery of high-quality support services that result in strong patient satisfaction, and that help maintain the fiscal and operational capacity of the practice.
Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday and Friday
Locations:
- Salisbury & Easton
Essential Job Functions:
- Checking patients in/out
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Providing “Five-Star” customer service
- Answering and directing high volume of incoming phone calls and make outgoing phone calls
- Collect payments at time of check-in/or check-out
- Accurately register new patients
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support dental staff
- Escort patients to treatment rooms (if needed)
- Prepare “Pre-Surgery” paperwork for all surgery patients 2 weeks before their appointment
- Prepare “Daily Appointment Sheet” for clinical staff doctor/hygiene
- Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Adhere to confidentiality, state, federal, and HIPAA laws and guidelines with regards to patient’s records.
- Follows and demonstrates commitment to CSD’s policies, professional expectations and Service Excellence Standards.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing monthly and quarterly goals
- Performs all other related duties as required
