Since 1990, we’ve evolved from a civil engineering firm to a versatile powerhouse, addressing intricate challenges in various industries of aviation, food and beverage, oil and gas, municipal, rail and survey.
We are currently seeking a Survey Technician to join our team in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you should have a working knowledge of field survey methods, materials, instruments, equipment, and procedures; basic construction safety practices; and codes and ordinances, rules and regulations affecting field survey operations.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience preparing ALTA/ACSM land surveys, boundaries, topographic, utility as-built including “plan & profile” and other drawings.
- Knowledge of the basic principles, techniques, and practices of land surveying.
- Knowledge of survey ethics and technical standards.
- Experience processing data using Carlson and Trimble Business Center.
- Experience in processing and drafting GDOT projects in InRoads or OpenRoads.
- Familiarity with MicroStation.
- Highly proficient in mathematics and measurements.
- Highly proficient with AutoCAD.
- Provide field crew support.
- Ability to read and organize field notes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with project managers, field staff, and clients.
- Service-oriented attitude.
- LSIT is a plus but not required.
